ACADEMIA CREMONENSI'S STUDENTS
Interviews with international students

Academia Cremonensis is a violin and bow making school situated in the center of Cremona (Italy). The primary objective of the Academia is to pass the traditional art of violin and bow making to future generations. The close interaction between Masters and apprentices is fundamental to the learning of the secrets of these Arts whose incomparable Masters: Stradivari, Guarneri and Amati, brought international renown to Cremona.
Paramount for the Academia is the goal to maintain the relationship between the wood selected from the forest and the emotions elicited by the sight and sounds of a fine violin, and enable pupils to reach their full potential as future “Keepers of violin-making’ secrets”.
